21st AGM and Mince Pie Morning

It seems unbelievable that the Christmas tradition which is the Association Mince Pie and coffee morning is now 21 years old. This yearly tradition, held on the first Saturday of December was again well attended this year and the ingredients to Tony's legendary brew remain as far as we can tell a well kept secret.

During the morning we also hold the AGM which provides details to members in terms of events on site, the state of the Association finances and any other information or news and at the close the trophies for the Annual Allotment competition are awarded.

We would like to thank everyone for making the morning a well supported and enjoyable event, and especially to Tony, Karen, Joan, Chris and Dave for all the work behind the scenes to make it happen and to those who kindly donated food or raffle prizes.

The overall winner of this years allotment competition was Darryl Mullinger, seen here awarded his trophy by the Association Chair, Karen Lawrence.

All this leaves is for the Association to wish all members the very best of seasons greetings, and a happy, healthy and successful growing year in 2026.
