New Figures to be spied on site

Arriving really early on site to water the acres of land that Karen has carefully cultivated, I was rather surprised to find that I was not the first person at the allotments. Not only this but the diminuitive figure at first glance pushing a rather large wheelbarrow. It was not until I popped across for a little chat did I realise that the individual was not quite who or what I expected.
There are one or two scarecrows or other on site, and part of the wider Chelmsford Borough Council Allotment competitions include a scarecrow competition for budding allotmenteers under the age of 10.
Getting back to the conversation that I never had with the individual above, (who can be spied on Bert's allotment), the model can be seen tending some pigs or piglets which represents a dream come true for Bert who has allegedly always wanted to keep pigs on his patch. This variety may not need quite so much care and attention, and certainly won't need chasing if they escape!
