You can't help to notice over recent months the community orchard has gradually been taken over by the long grass. Thanks to the sterling efforts of Chris Perrin and Ray, the area has now been fully strimmed and then mowed to make it look considerably more easy on the eye.
Additional to this we owe a huge thank you to Chris Perrin who earlier in the year tidied up the original insect hotel which was built in the midst of the orchard and returned it closer to it's former self. All the intrusive weeds, brambles and other growths removed.
